as i recall, carl, if you dont make your presets seamless and then upload your filter to the library, then the website makes them seamless for the various displays. it wont actually change your filter, but it will render your preset settings as seamless and then display them that way on the site. at least that's how it seems to have been in the past. notice when you click on the link in this thread and then click on any of the presets, you'll see a notice at the bottom left saying 'View Seamless Tiling'. and, if you click on that, it uses the preset currently showing. but also notice that the pattern/texture in the preset window is the same as when you view the seamless tiling for that preset. and, remember that often in your own copy of FF that when you click on seamless tiling that your image is re-rendered and often a bit different than when you dont have seamless turned on. that means that the presets showing on this website have been rendered with seamless turned on even if your filter has them not on.
lol. and no, it doesnt need to be seamless ![]() If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

Craig in the overrides you can either force seamless tiles [ for when you use components like rotate ] or disable tiling, which I do for art filters, frames etc and that is how it shows on the site with a message at the bottom saying this filter isn't a seamless tiling filter [ what ever words they use ]
