Hi,
I dont personnally own FF, i have the trial on my computer, but my friend artist has buyed the Pro FF yesterday (in fact, he ask me to do it for him while he was sleeping). Later he found your filter on the web site and after trying it, he was shocked that there was no option to render any maps (he likes bump maps). So, i helped him to modify this to have the height from the offset that seemed the best choice for this. Then, after testing, my friend asked me for another modification. He wanted the background removed. The easiest thing i could do was connecting the "get alpha" found just above the "bump offset" to the last blend, i think. You might better than me at doing a version without background and with all maps. I think the background is still been processed before getting removed wich make things slower. Anyway, keep up the good work. |

Hi TulipVorlax, and welcome to the forums.
That's because this filter is a Simple Filter (as opposed to a Surface Filter) by design.
Just delete the part of the filter tree that generates the background gradient. You might have to rework some of the components that are influenced by the "Drop Shadows" and "Cast Shadows" controls, though. --- Crapadilla says: "Damn you, stupid redundant feature requests!" ;) |
