Well I downloaded this one, haven't played with it yet, but I am impressed with the oily effect. It really does look like thick glops of impressionist painting style... very artsy

LOL.....
Well, I had to "tweek" the lighting.....the reflectivity wasn't quite right.....hard to pin-point because it uses 'sharpen' at the end to bring out the edges and relief.....which also pixelates the reflective areas..... I like this effect because it does unpredictable things to different images.....and plays upon the pixelation and resolution of an image. It creates some really neat effects on a low-res depleted images..... Steve

Love the painterly colorful look in the little dilapidated shack. Makes me want to actually get my paints out again. Bet it does that for you too, huh Carl? ~Foxxee~

Wow! StevieJ this is excellent. I especially like the effect on architectural images. It turns an otherwise boring image into a classic oil painting. Nice work!

Tactile sensations strangely pleasurable in a prime audley [ sp?] way, remember the pleasure as a child of finger painting, feeling the paint ooze between your fingers, the multi coloured hands...... arms ...... faces..... the guilty secret as an adult that as an artist your can still feel the ooze of innocent pleasure

It is a selfportrait [ I'm not as flat in real life ] I used steve's Filter ........... o no I've forgotten it's name it's something like UltraBlackSketcher .......... thanks Steve nice one ...... I have other versions using other filters but I can't seem to get them small enough to load  |
