No, in fact this may be the first and last donkey penis conversation of my life. At least at this rate I cannot expect to have another one until I'm 90 years old. Sad really. smile:(

Hey! your avatar is back!! smile:banana: smile:beer:
I hope you don't take it away again. How would you feel if I took mine away? I like everything just the way it is. I'm still sad about Carl taking his dog tag away.

My avatar was back yesterday too. Hard to explain why I remove it.

I like yours a lot; black & red are a good combination. Plus I like your balls.

Knew we would get back to your balls eventually. smile:D

Well, now I'm confused, are you saying it's the avatar, donkey penis, pitting texture or my balls that is not related to your very excellent 'Welcome to the Machine' texture?
If I were a game designer I would dedicate an entire level to using this filter.
But hopefully I will never have to do games. That's almost as bad as graphics over the web.

I was thinking that this might have been insulting. I was only referring to how frustrating and claustrophobic it is to work with low poly models or low bandwidth internet connections. Working in those environments requires more discipline and creativity than working at high end workstations with render farms. I dream about having access to that type of equipment like everyone but obviously my prospect for gaining access is zero. So I apologize for my stupid and insensitive remark and I will gladly work in whatever area will put food on the table.

Yes. It's entirely subjective and I was making sound like one was intrinsically better than the rest and that is not the way I feel about it.
I have been at it too long. Have a good one.

ron, i'm pretty sure you could speed that up by quite a bit, but i'd have to see the filter. sometimes i can think with this stuff in my head but always easier to see it visually.

and ahimsa, well, i've been hiding a secret from you. that six perlin filter that made that pattern AND the one i've been posting samples of in the 'noise lab' thread, all came from a highly altered 'pitted stone' filter that you made smile;)

thanks, carl smile:) yeah, i'm liking it too smile:)

well, dilla refuses to be the 'professor' of the lab, but i still poke around in it. if one REALLY understood perlin and how to manipulate it, your do most anything with it.
