Hello, I think that this could be useful, but have tried it and do not know really how to use it right, and how to modify the settings to get the result right.
You have already given very good description and explained it it here in this thread but as I have already put in that thread, I have tried your filter and followed your instructions given on that thread, but for me it does not work as expected, I mean that I do not know really how to use it, because I can feed an custom alpha channel, but then the shading filling does not follow the alpha channel shape. I think that maybe (or most surely) this is because I do not know how to use and configure your Fastshading Mapscript filter If I feed the filter with an custom alpha channel would the filter make the shading from the edges to the inside as shown on the first post of this thread below? How to fill a shape with gradient like in same way as FF Bevel width? |
