How to use this filter

The source image is connected to a map script component which uses 10 formulas to transform it. Up to 6 sliders alter the generated pattern by this component.
The resulting pattern is connected to 6 other component inputs. Every of these components, selectable by "Select pattern", generates a different pattern.
The resulting pattern is connected to a kaleidoscope and at the end to a surface result component.
See following lines for details in altering the different patterns.

Set "Select pattern" to 1
Map script output gets to this input. Use map script sliders to alter pattern.

Set "Select pattern" to 2
Your image is altered by Flip and Multiblend components. Use map script sliders to alter pattern.

Set "Select pattern" to 3-5
Your image is altered by Flip, Multiblend and Rotate components with different rotation angles. Use map script sliders to alter pattern.

Set "Select pattern" to 6
Noise distortion component is selected. Use map script sliders and "Angle, Scale, Stretch, Distortion" sliders to alter pattern.

Every pattern passes the kaleidoscope component. You can alter the resulting pattern by sliders:
Kal Offset H, Kal Offset V, Kal Size, Kal Mode and Reflectivity, Reflection Blur, Metallic

Have fun to explore the capabilities of this filter. smile:)

I started playing with this and immediately realized I should have gotten a square image to start with. You don't have to, but it just makes it easier for me.

Now I am thinking that the default image is what? A square! But I was messing around with some photos...

I brought down all the controls to very small numbers and played around with the lighting. Then began to bring the controls up and had a lot of fun seeing the changes.

This is pretty cool, lots of fun and makes impressive effects!

UPDATE: Okay, so I got the square photo and started playing around. Wow, it's pretty fun and it tiles nicely. Thank you!
