Information : the library is showing correctly the main preset. But the first variant is completely different than what you can see ( at least now ) in the library.
I may update it to see if the library corrects the mistake.

Interesting filer. As you know I like to use the maximum, median, minimum and percentile components a lot myself. smile:D Ya know, i'm not sure if this has anything to do with your preset situation but a while ago I was having problems with the seamless tiling on my default presets. I'd click seamless tiling on the default preset and then submit the filter and when I downloaded the filter the seamless tiling would be off. Then i'd update the filter with the seamless tiling on again. Then i'd download it once more and CARUMBA! The seamless tiling would be off again. So finally I contacted the management and when they got back to me they said " Oops, sorry we started doing that so the filter library would look more uniform. " ( What ever that means.) smile:?: So yah, maybe that has somthing to do with it. ( Or not). smile:)

Thanks DJI. smile;)
I'm working on SquarePic 2, that is much more complex.
I'm very surprised of your picture, because it is so nice how it makes white lines on the crystals, like it was a net.

Time... I tested this filter in rather large pictures, so it should be ok. But the max/min components sometimes takes time depending on the brightness of the picture.

Yes, I know about the trouble with seamless presets.
In my case the preset is not seamless. When I uploaded it, the first variation spent, strangely ( strangely, because it is not more complex than the others ), much more time to upload. And the result is that it doesn't look correctly ( but everything is ok when you download the filter ). So the problem is something else ( internet connection, or what else ).

The idea for using maximum and minimum is something I found long time ago making another filter series ( "The Infernal Machine". It is a long series of never uploaded filters. They have over 100 controls, so they can't be uploaded in the library ).
This time and in the next filter they will be used in simple way.

Anyway I'm finishing the new filter. I'll upload it later, so it will be probably available on Monday or Tuesday.

I'm also working on the Circle Packing ( Circle Packing ) theme.
I faced the problem from a different approach. The result should be less smooth and natural than ThreeDee solution, but probably faster to show up.

That's interesting. Because i've been trying to figure out a way to use that same circle packing effect myself. So far I haven't been able to come up with the expertise to pull it off. smile:) Oh, and the white lines are there beacuse the max component brings up the highlights of the image. Check this out. https://www.filterforge.com/forum/read...sage127633

Yes, sure, I know the reason of the lines. They just look nice. He! He!

My idea for the packing is easy.
1. I break the picture in hexagons.
2. I ins ert in each hexagon circles ( based on about 4 circles sizes ) to fill them. The hexagons can be rotated in 6 directions. There are 5-6 different patterns for the circles.
3. I assign a color to every circle depending on their position on the image.

I still have to decide if the choice of the design and the rotation of the hexagons will be automatic or manual.
Manual would be better and it would not be complex. Just two controls for every hexagon : "Pattern Sele ct" + "Rotate".

Ohhhh.........
I remember one time that you said "I can't write some words correctly. Every time I write them a space appear in the middle".
Now I'm having your same problem. In the previous post I tried to write "ins ert" and "sele ct", but and it added a space in the middle of these two words. The first moment I thought it was my typing mistake. So I clicked "Modify" and I did the correction. But after re-posting the message, the mistake was back there.

The anti-virus can't be, I think. Otherwise it would always happen.

Sometimes, when similar things happen, it may be our browser fault. The browser needs a clean-up ( just clear the "History" in Firefox or Internet Explorer ).

When it is not our browser...... there are many possible reasons, not depending on our computer.

Dude, all I know is what they told me. And as a matter of fact it does happen on a regular basis. And it wouldn't be my browser because I clean it every day. Anyway, you can talk to them yourself. smile:)

This is the best filter of my SquarePic series, so the Hangul says "I'm the best". Ha! Ha! I thought it may be funny for the user to add it to his picture.
Clearly, in the filter, it is possible to choose to add the writings or not. smile;)

It is also the title of a song : 내가 제일 잘 나가
