is there something fishy here?
![]() ![]() funny ![]() Like how it done the fish go round the edges and how they are situated and arranged As possible suggestion 1 - From the title I may guess that you have more ideas with other different animals? You could put them all in the same filter with a switch to change shape from one to the other 2 - I would add an optional shadow, so the fish do not get mixed, and are clearly separated between the layers, although I say optional because it may not be always good, and also having it without shadows also gives a good and nice effect 3 - For another different version of this filter (you need to make it with Surface result) I could suggest to make the fish with a metallic bump so they look more 3D like and are less flat, but do not know if this would be good, it has to be tested to see how it would look. |

Hi SpaceRay! Thank you!
All my last filters have names composed of two parts, the first indicating the genre, and the second is the real filter name. This helps to find it in FF and to understand the filter type. I have ideas to make other animals filters, but they may have a completely different structure. A possibility similar to this one could be to make a moon jelly filter. I'll see. A shadow... It may be a good idea. I'll try. Yes, I already thought to make a surface filter. If I simply change this filter to surface type, it doesn't look too good. I must change it and check if it may be good or not. |

I love this filter! And apparently the FF team does, too, because it was featured in the most recent email I received from them.
![]() There are similar filters using different shapes, but the schools of fish are absolutely perfect for this type of pattern. This is one of the filters that fire off my creative juices. I absolutely MUST use it somehow. ![]() Thanks, Ramlyn, for this great filter! ![]() |

![]() I made it because I thought that there were no many filters with fishes and maybe having a new one could be useful. I'm happy that you and so many other people like it. ![]() |

As I create 3d animated screensavers, I'm very interesting by fishes... very useful when I create underwater scenes. If you create other filters with fishes

I'm working on Fishy 2.
It will have shadows and more movement than the first filter. |
