And this is with your default preset. smile:D It was renderd at 2732x1536 rez and took about 3 minutes. smile:D Not bad. What suprised me was that the save to disk was instataneous. smile:D smile:D This is definiely a great background maker. smile:D One small thing. I suggest you include at least 9 presets with your filters. smile:)

This is a quick tutorial on how to make smoke, since the base image don't give that a good a view.

Create a simple line and blur the the image a lot so its about 75% of the original black.

I copy this layer just in case I need to do another, select the filter forge and use Smokein! filter. Here you need to adjust the settings to get thr right effect.

The variation help define how thin or thick the smoke will be.

Ok. Here's what I got from your tutorial. smile:D My only problem with this is that it leaves the original image in the background. I suppose it would be easy enough to enlarge it in a photo editor and paint it out. smile:)

I did notice that DJI, I think its the roughness input being the same for all the iterations.

Any ideas how to get around that?

I'll tinker with it and see what I can do. smile:)...

Well. When I turned down the blend opacity down to about 18 to 20 and put more gama on it that helped a bit. That's about all see at the moment. But then again i'm not that hot at this stuff myself. smile:)
