Nice filter. Same as your other HSTFU filter, it has good color effects.

I'm thinking to blend your color idea with a system of kaleidoscopes and gradients.
I don't know if I will get good results or not. Let's see. If good I will post a filter and quote you in the description.

I think the random vortices overkills the level of abstraction to a point it makes the image weak against a geometric variations you put up. Basically the vortices stirs creating breaks in between those strong contrasting lines which in the end results in dispersed tones and color instead of the expected strong lines. I'd just not do the vortex stuff and keep the output simple, it's already very complicated with the geometric patterns.

Yes, Skybase, probably you are right.
The original image becomes too hard to understand.
I'm still testing this filter, so it may become very different when I'll publish it.
Thanks for the suggestion.

Although interesting regardless. I thought I'd drop off that comment given how interesting the original geometric lines+Martin Naumann's filter looked.
It's one of those nice color schemes that happen to work. Reminds me of 2001 A Space Odyssey scenes where they duo-tone processed landscape footage.

This is really cool and well done, with the right amount of saturation and that the original image is still visible right.
Will make some tests to see how it works
Also have to find out and know what are the differences between this filter, the version 2 and the manually version
