Stevie J's EyeCandy 1 by StevieJ

This is my first filter and it is the result of my first string of experimentations with FF. Personally, I liked the seemingly enless variants of this filter and the random "unpredictability" of its effect on different images.

I am anxious to get some feedback (good or bad) on this filter.....

Thanx Sjeiti, I thought it looked 'yummy' too It does some really neat things with photographs....

Thanx Crappadilla, I will try that.... I try anything that works I've made several other modifications that I will update it with..... There's no end to what you can do here....and it has been quite a lesson in image properties....

Thank you, CFandM Funny you say that....I am working on a filter like that....with chroming options as well. I have been playing around with all types of filters like this and I was thinking of putting them all on switches in one filter....kinda like an abstract workshop. What do you think?

Hi CFandM No, "StevieJ's AbstractWorx 1" is a new filter that I posted last night. I really like playing with this one....endless options, fine tuning, unpredictable effects....500 hp, four-on-the-floor, dual cams....

I really like what you did above with the motion blur in my first filter (StevieJ's EyeCandy 1).....and I think that I am going to make a filter for that effect with the option of soft pastel to metallic. That was a great idea!!!! I'm going to have to name it "CFandM's Influence On StevieJ's Filters"

What and where are your filters??? I would like to check them out.....

Hey Kraelin and CFandM I really have not been paying attention to who's done what....but I went back and took a look....and yeah, that was pretty stupid of me to say that without looking....

CFandM, you have my appologies....I just saw that my favorite filter is yours...."Langrangian Twist" The other stupid thing is that I have been meaning to contact the author of that one....and I have already been talking to you.....

I really want to learn how to put filters like that together.....

Hey CFandM , I tried to figure how you did your "Langrangian Twist", but it is well beyond my skill level....and made me realize that I have alot to learn before ever dreaming of going there. I'm starting small and simplified, experimenting with everything as I go, and taking it one step at a time so I know exactly what I need.....

Is there a way to send unfinished filters-in-progress to each other without submitting them???

All of this is coming from just the FF test image....I have not tried it on anything else yet.....

Yep thats how I started out, with simple but still kinda cool filters. Check my first filter out.

actually, i had an idea a while back to take some filters that were all fairly similar and snip the best parts out and combine those parts into a new one. i'm actually somewhat surprised that the FF team isnt doing a bit of trimming in the library or something similar to what i'm saying. but i suppose that would somewhat kill the incentive to post them there.
