Yes Rachel, you are right. There is some Japanese influence in some of the helmet decorations of this filter. I basically wanted to make something that could fit both for Europe and for Asia, but without being too specific. Then, depending on the choice, it may look like a European warrior, or vaguely like a samurai or a Chinese warrior. There is also the chance to create a character looking a bit like Robin Hood. Now I'm working on a female character, with a scary/ghost theme. |

This filter took long time. I don't know how many hours, but I spent several days to make it. There are many options, especially for the decoration of the helmet. It took time also to balance the colors, because it was sometimes not easy to give a nice 3D effect without making the color too light or too dark. It is my first attempt on 3D characters. I will make others. Maybe also plants and landscapes. They could then be combined together to create games or more complex pictures. |

Making the filter, I tried to avoid solutions that could slow down the rendering too much. I think this helped. Anyway the merit goes to FF team. FF7 is much faster than the previous versions. |
