			This filter is cool.  I've been working on something similar, though I'm not this far along (and now I may never finish it).  I like some of the variations this makes (the bloody one is great).

			cheers, would dustiness refer to the dirt on each fin? I can put a slider to adjust its alpha level maybe...

			What i am trying to say might be better illustrated with a poor quality picture Here.
 
			If you could add another layer of noise with a slider that adds and subtracts from the concentration of dust that accumulates on vents of that type. Hope thats clearer  |

			^_^ An air vent generator! Awesome! The building might be burning down, you might be chased by a swarm of angry hornets, or your in-laws might be visiting, but you'll always have the trusty air vent on your side for a quick escape! ^_^ Err... assuming that the grate isn't nailed shut... then you're pretty much screwed, ahahaha *nervous laugh*.
