Thi is really a great way to be able to do this kind of things in FF, well done, useful and interesting how it was done I have been trying to make something like this in the past 5 years but have not benn able to find out and although this filter in itself is not exactly what I wanted, modifying it and adding some few additional components can be what I want as shown below There are 3 filters about his topic, although for now I have only used this one here

SpaceRay SpaceRay Posts: 12298 Filters: 35	This filter has a great potential and power to do other different things than the ones shown on the presets above as it can be used with more components For example if you add an Intslider to the repeat node of the 3 color gradient component and configure it with for example a 15 value max you get some cool and interesting lines patterns as shown on screnshot below

SpaceRay SpaceRay Posts: 12298 Filters: 35	This shown here is the default 1 value that is inside the original filter that gives just 1 line and looks not very interesting, but as shown above if this not good looking lines are repeated then you can get something more interesting

SpaceRay SpaceRay Posts: 12298 Filters: 35	Well you can also decide and be able to change the design of the lines always go through the center and so none of the lines are passing through the center by adding a checkbox component to the rotate node of the 3 color gradient and so it will be like this

SpaceRay SpaceRay Posts: 12298 Filters: 35	And after configuring correctly the checkbox you can get the result of lines not going through the center if wanted, so this way you have two different options and alternative, as you may not always want that the lines are crossing in the center

SpaceRay SpaceRay Posts: 12298 Filters: 35	Additionally as the lines seem to be very thin and can be shown pixelated and could show badly if wanted to export for print or a high resolution work, is good to add a line width option Add a slide control to the Position 1 as shown and is very important to configure the remapper with the values shown on screenshot

SpaceRay SpaceRay Posts: 12298 Filters: 35	So, now you can be able to get some high quality black lines that are not pixelated and good for high resolution Here I have put a 2000 x 2000 image size and configured some settings as shown Also the seamless tiling gives a good interesting result if wanted

SpaceRay SpaceRay Posts: 12298 Filters: 35	Thanks really very much to Melissa for creating this and for the way this filter was created and that it opens a wide way to make many other possible things as the things I put above is just some possible variations, but there are a great potential to do do much more, for example add colors to the lines, or fill the shapes with colors or even photo bits

SpaceRay SpaceRay Posts: 12298 Filters: 35	There is also other possible cool variation if you add the Image component to the color 2 of the 3 Gradient as it will paint all the lines with the source image given using the gradient given by the Line width value Also will change much if you select Repeat 1 value as shown here
