WOW!! Finally this is available and ready, you have an awesome and amazing work creating this that is really very well done and lovely.

Like much the way that you have combined the circles to make this artistic designs

Thanks very much for all the work you have done on this and for making it in such very complex way and and have the options to configure it with colors and reducing or increasing the amount of circles, and have the dense packing option.

This is an example of creative creation using FF that would not be possible in other software I may know.

From your prototype version I have modified it and by accident got this that looks like a butterfly

and to see how it is done here is the filter modified

Using Preset 1, I have replaced the 5 color controls with custom spectrum components with different values and I got this as first test, as it can be done better

And here is preset 1 but with activated Ring 2 so it has all 5 rings and with Line width 90

And here is the most complex one that is thanks to the extension created by Rachel that she made it possible to do this

Is the same settings as the above one here but with the dense packing active

Now using the original filter without any modification using default preset 1 with 5 rings

1 red
2 white
3 blue
4 red
5 yellow

without using seamless tiling as the yellow ones look better

Like much how complex the circles are made and how it has been done so well to connect so many circles in such awesome way

This is preset 1 with line width 75 and 5 rings

1 - Red
2,3,4 and 5 - white

without seamless tiling

so seeing this the main circles that make the main shapes are the number 1 and that there is an outline color for the main shapes as the white is also covering most of the red shapes that looks very good and great

And now what would happen if you activate the "allow images" from the 5 color controls?

This is preset 1 with line width 99 (is using 4 rings by default, number 2 unchecked)

Rings 1 and 5 - is using this image

Ring 3 - is using this other image

Ring 4 - is using red and white stripes

so with these images loaded you get this creative thing below

note: on the link of Rings 1 , scroll down until you find many other images that are also available and similar

And furthermore there is another interesting option to crop the result into a whole circle and cutout all the surroundings so you get a perfect circle filled with a very complex design

This is using Preset 9 (this by default has 5 rings and dense packing and also crop result activated )

Rings
1 blue
2 white
3 yellow
4 green
5 red

and thinking more, what would happen if instead of the Free Ellipse, you use the Free Polygon instead?

Well, it works also as seen here with squares

Default preset 1 with these colors

Rings
1 red
2 white
3 yellow
4 blue
5 white

Thanks really very much to you that made this possible

You have done a good work with giving 5 colors for each ring, but I have thought that also it would be good and great if there could be the option to paint the whole design with the colors of any custom image

Here is the your original filter for you to test it, I just added the option at the end of your own filter and at the end of the settings

I think is cool and interesting.

I do not know if the overlay blend mode is the best option.

Now something different using the original filter with this result shown already above (the link so show it bigger does not work, go above if needed)

I have loaded this result into Neon Electric by CFandM using Preset 7 and got this

If you maybe may think that the Circular Reasoning may have a possible fixed circle design and the rings variations only give more or less circles, there is an option that will open a wide amount of new options

I can suggest thar you can create the design you want with this filter here and then load the result into Tile-o-Matic by Rachel Duim and testing the different presets will give you a great amount of awesome different designs

For example here is using the preset 1 with the same source image result

Also can test other kaleidoscope filters

Dude, you've gone wild... love it, great variations. I took your code and tweaked it a bit, now the Sides has turned into Polygon Variations. If I released it, it would be something like this.. however, too slow for my taste, so I'll post it here. FF9 and above. Some of the variations have a rotated polygon, which produces different results. Try it out...

I still love very much this awesome filter that is so well done and clever built and even more with the polygonal version that allows to have other geometric shapes instead of only circles as for example this one

Yes, I agree that is too slow but this is a problem of FF and we regrettably can only make it faster buying a much powerful computer but only rich people can do it, as my computer is an 3,4 quad core intel core i5 and can not can buy any other new one.

Here I have made this complex one without using dense packing and using the resolution of the built-in lifesaver and it has taken over 10 minutes.

I have just found this video and it reminds me much about this filter when it reaches 0:17 or 0:40

Fractal Geometry Journey - Hyperbolic Flower of Life

And I have though that now that we have FF 12 with animation video export it could be possible to make something like this with scale, rotation and offset using the original faster circular version

will see how it may work and what can be done
