Some of the filters in the library work well with this filter as a base image. For instance 2D Concentric Polygons is a good one...

Using a base image that is black and white you could have some very interesting number sets.

Very nice.
The last picture looks like the decorations we can find on stone walls of some old palace or cathedral. You got a great idea making this filter. It can generate stunning results.  |

Yup, that is what it reminded me of as well. I liked the color on the last preset so I left that color scheme in. I was thinking about this filter for a while and how to approach it. Then I made the previous filter and it sparked some experimenting....... Another fun one...  Stupid things happen to computers for stupid reasons at stupid times! |

Excelent and creative examples well done you have shown, and I agree that with the right source image this filter could give some awesome and amazing results and be used in multiple ways.
Thanks for showing the link to the Perlin Tiling that I did not know it was available. Sorry that I still have not FF 11 installed to try it. |
