Very interesting, but when I tried to open the filter, the program completely locked up. I guess it's too much for my laptop to handle.

Same problem here but I have 32megs of memory so something else is going on. It totally locks up FF in windows 8.1 64bit pro. I had to use task manager to kill FF. Restarted FF and tried again and it again froze FF 12 latest version.

Yes, even a new generation AW laptop with top-of-the-line i9 cpu can barely handle this filter, but ironically my 3years old desktop with i5 and liquid cooling can.
