And what is creative and interesting and makes it apart from other is with the additional option of having in the middle 3 different things, a sphere, a cube or sticks that join seamlessly all together in such perfect tiling.
Well in the sticks option there is another version that will add a little cube at the end as shown above here in previous post

The above ones have plain color, and this above remembers me to something similar I have seen in pinterest some time ago before seeing this one

As you can see I this one there are many different textures applied randomly

I know that this one's are not cubes as the ones that you have made but the isometric perspective in 3D is similar
