I innitially got into metals because you thought my "HeavyMetalChrome" looked like plastic.....and started discovering some other neat things.....that led to even more neat things in the polychromatic realm.... ".....every time I try to get out, they pull me back in....." The Godfather That's right, I'm blaming you for being stuck in an eternal damnation of metal filters LOL..... just kidding I'm just very thorough and explore everything. I have about 20 different glass filters that I'm working on....along with starting to fool around with solarizing, textures, and patterns. I trimmed that "SolarSilver" snippet off of a massive texture generater that I've made.... Steve "Buzzards gotta eat...same as worms..." - Clint :)

StevieJ Designer/Artist Posts: 11264 Filters: 163	Wow, sorry to hear about your 9 year drought ....sounds like alot of people are in very bad situations. I'm wondering why I haven't heard about this on the news. I hope things get better for all of you real soon. Over the past few years, the weather has been going to extremes here too....but nothing like what you are experiencing. The experts are saying that these global weather patterns are coming from recent changes in 'El Ninio' (sp?) coming off of South America....and attributing it to the destruction of the Amazonian rain forest.... Hmmmmm....maybe a filter called "Chcolate & Vanilla Frosting" with options to add jimmies, nuts, Reese's Peices....and my favorite, M&Ms I love chocolate....it doesn't last long at my house Steve "Buzzards gotta eat...same as worms..." - Clint :)

Carl c r v a Posts: 7289 Filters: 82	The sea levels are definitly rising, there is a couple islands north of Papia which are flooding by the sea and are at the point where the population are being relocated to the larger islands.El Dingo are longer lasting, more frequent and more extreme - it's pitty the world run by greedy people who put money [ power ] first, at great cost to the enviroment and the impovished. I don't know how much Aussie news you get, our tv's are full of USA news and programs mixed with Brittish. .......... I just saw a report stating that sea level has not risen more that 1 inch in the last 100 years....and the scientists are now handing Al Gore's butt back to him. You never know what to believe because all of it seems to be politically motivated, and like you say, monetarily driven.
