nice one, james!
two suggestions here: swap out the blocks component with a perlin (for rendering speed) and add a few more controls. there are a few you can add without compromising the overall effect. but i do like this effect. If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

I find this is nice to apply on a blank canvas — it lays out a psychedelic interwoven pattern of rainbow squares.
Based on Kraellin's suggestions, I'd like to see it faster too, it felt like it was crawling a bit. (Also wish we could see filters dated on their pages, I have no idea when this was made.) I'm enjoying using Filter Forge to create http://torley.com/textures |
