It looks like candle wax, doesn't it? I love that look. Nothing lame about this filter at all.

You can get the old looks, there are just way more (and I think better) possibilities now. Actually, more of the wax look as I recall (it has been 6 hours, and quite some vodka since then though ha-ha).

Well, I did pretty much change them all (the old presets) a bit, but you can tweak them back down to about 3/4 or more of exactly how they were if you mess with the controls. I just wanted to go for some much more obvious (and I thought more effective overall) effects with it. As much as I like subtely, the original version of this filter was just too subtle for me ha-ha. Anyways, glad you found some presets you like as much or more, in that sense, the update did exactly what it was meant to. (Yer example pic kind of reminds me of if someone painting on some of that latch hook kit plastic meshing.)

I had not received the update so downloaded another copy. When opened filter forge your update was just coming in.
