Hi ahimsa, cool name I have the same philosophy - I noticed in this thread and your other thread you mention all the presets not being your own making if I understand you correctly - ff always uses a default preset and eight presets hence if you set up a total of nine presets ff will use those - on the ff gui on the preset tab there is a triangle at the top right corner click it and you have the option to add presets - I hope this solves any future disappointments, also be aware that ff run all presets through seamless tiling which can modify slightly the presets, if you go the settings tab you'll find seamless tiling checkbox this will show you how your preset will be adjusted in seamless tiling

Hi Carl,
I know how to do the seamless tiling. I don't always save them that way though. I guess I better make sure to make enough examples then. I didn't know there was a certain number as I have downloaded many that have three or less examples.
Only a couple of the examples weren't mine. Like two on one and two or three on the other. Most are mine, but then you will see all of a sudden examples that are very plain and do not fit with the theme or the style of the other filters.
Thanks for talking to me about this. I didn't know I needed to submit at least 9 each time. I will from now on.
Variations 6 & 9 on this set are not mine.

By doing the 9 you have creative control - hope your enjoying ff - use the forum if you have questions or need help with your filter design problems there are some very astute filter designers here [ far more astute than myself ] who are more than happy to help

You don't have to save them with the seamless tiling check box ticked

I am enjoying this program a lot. I'll be pretty sad when the demo time expires.

I've already had the extension. I was so busy working here that I didn't get around to trying to make filters until the other day. I will save up for the program after I get things that are needed here in real life. So maybe a year from now or so.

Great filter ahimsa with very precise control! Your specialty in cloth and fabric is certainly something Filter Forge could use more of! It's sad to hear that your trial might expire. The hidden potential of your filters might surprise you in the months to come though, hopefully they'll work hard for you as you have worked hard for them to earn you Rewards ^_^ -Zephos

Thanks. I'm hoping at least a few of my filters will become popular so I can try my hand at the more complicated filters. This is really a lot of fun for me.
