This one's been updated. The first 4 presets are shown below on the Stevie Cup picture. Update was submitted 07-01-2007, so it should show up early this week in the filter database.

All cool.....#1 is awesome from my personal taste. #3 is a really cool posterization effect.....maybe could be its' own filter..... Steve

----In a way I simplified it internally quite a bit, but I added more/more specific controls, so more could be done with less, umm, in a way. And as a nod to the colorful filters of late, I put a checkbox control, to turn off *Preserve Color*, and allow for "Neon Pastel Mode" ha-ha. I figured hey, it's an update, and it wasn't that popular a filter to start with, might as well open'er up and cater to what people seem to like a bit more, since my way has more or less failed on this one ha-ha. And yeah, overall, it's looking a bit like my Intonation filter, or a cross between that one and Post Modern Posterize, but, it's better than it was, so what can ya do.

I do that quite often to get the "artsy" effects.....and seems to have worked well for this to get that effect.... Quote |

----Oh come on, I have several number2/sequel filters ha-ha, I'm just not personally into doing a whole series of one kind, you know me.

Hmmmm.....that's right.....a series is more than two.....and I've got quite a few more than that in Metal, Solar, Glass, and Spectral.....I see your point Steve

----Plus, I'm lazy, I'd rather just update a filter than make up a new name for it, or just slap a *2* on the name it already has.
----Not that it wasn't probably obvious, but the update is now in the library, happy tone doctoring all.

P.S. Note to = everyone who does all the weird multi-colored filters, ya'll must be on to something, Tone Surgeon is now high usage since the update at midnight last night ha-ha. Filter Forger

Variation 6 has an effect I really like. I like the others too, but this one is my favorite.

----Cool, much better example pic than the Stevie-cup, but what can ya do, the cup is better than the life preserver at this point of overseeing/overusing (ye olde life preserver example) anything is a welcome relief ha-ha. Variation 6 probably has the most detail of the presets there, but you can always dial in some more detailed presets, or pop a sharpen module in at the end of the chain and cheat that way.
