Kraellin Kraellin Posts: 12749 Filters: 99	thanks, steve. i kind of like this one too, though maybe a bit limited in use. i like the scattering effect, one of the interesting uses of the refraction component. If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up! Craig

Kraellin Kraellin Posts: 12749 Filters: 99	i updated this one last night to the library. it's now 'monster spawn 5d' (or e, i forget). i was trying to use it on some other images besides the yellow flower and realized i had little to no way of reducing the effect if i wanted to, so i added in an image and blend component to do this with. i also added in a black point adjustment. you can still get all the same effects as before so there's no reason not to overwrite the original with the update. If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up! Craig

Kraellin Kraellin Posts: 12749 Filters: 99	thanks, steve yeah, great pic! and if you like that sort of effect, i've got another that does it even more so. still working on spawn 6, but maybe 7 i'll do that one up. and by the way, version 5b works best where the foreground is all one color or mostly so. your yellow flower and that last one you posted work fine. the reason for the update was to be able to broaden the effect to more types of images and not just the bright foreground types. If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up! Craig

Kraellin Kraellin Posts: 12749 Filters: 99	and, oh wow! you've inspired me yet again, steve! that lilly pic just turned me onto a whole new set of filters. i'd been testing all these spawn filters with the yellow flower and not any other (hardly). by using the lilly i've just encountered a whole new range of effects from the monster. amazing! i'll post one teaser here If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up! If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up! Craig
