Oh Ron, you have another fascinating filter out for us!
It is strange, to say the least, but beautifully strange... I LIKE
This is what I came up with. Added a light coating of Voldemort's Color Damage. Cloudy Night Sky by PogS. a little EyeCandy Glow with a Starburst Tube and you turn a Beacon into 'The Birth Of A Sun'
 ~Foxxee~
You are more than welcome to use and learn from my FF filters ;)

Wow! Foxxee! that's great! my little beacon is growing up. I think in this case though most of the credit goes to voldemort, PogS, EyeCandy and Starburst - and of course you and your tasteful combination. But I am sure little Beacon does not mind playing a bit part - it is a very humble filter. @ronviers

Your little Beacon is the main character here, Ron... he's the Actor!
Everything else is the costume, makeup and props to add dazzle and pizazz for entertainment purpose only

MysticBlueRaven you have unusual taste, this is my personal favorite but I do not expect it to have a very widespread appeal, other than that it is fun to look at and play around with I don’t see any application for it, but then again I don’t’ have much experience in graphics so I don’t know how most of the FF filters are used. Thanks for checking it out and your positive comments.

My hubby would agree with you there, your Beacon reminds me of Venetian Glass Orbs.
I does look like an exploding sun, which make it really cool

Steve! you had me worried. When you didn't comment on my recent filters I began to question my filter making ability and doubt their quality. My filters fall into two categories; ones StevieJ has signed off on, and ones he hasn't.
Thank you.
BTW, everything came together for me on this filter.

everything came together... is this also a reference to that thing you were talking about with blur and high pass? a little elaboration would be cool. (i want all your secrets!) If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

Since you’re a better filter maker than I am I can’t tell you anything you don’t already know but I can describe what happened to me. Marvin Harrison – the star receiver for the Indianapolis Colts (a football team) said something that stuck with me. “They don’t pay me to play football, they pay me to practice†After ‘high pass and blur demonstration’ the work was finished and it was time for me to play filter. That is not something I could have just said; I had to earn it.
Please keep in mind that i am still a newbie when it comes to the world of graphics.

Ron...your entire "orb" series should be in a gallery by themselves. It's amazing how you keep coming out with new variations that are totally unique from one another. Excellent work my friend

I re-read what I wrote and I noticed that it doesn’t make sense. I tried to think of a better way to put it but it seems that things I write are at best tangential to what I think. I wish I were more articulate. Something about working myself into a position of relaxation…or something.
