Ron smile:?: You said you tested this filter on the life preserver right? Well it likes to also make skin softener filters colored in any hue you desire. LOL

Variation and sliders adjusted off of preset 4. Users can make them and save as presets. (((Double use filter)))

Wow! Persidio smile:D I like it! You made me proud of my filter. I knew *should* do something but I didn't have time to figure out what. I didn't even know what to name it. I had finished it more than a week earlier but was busy with other filters so when my time ran out I just came up with a random name and submitted it. I think it has a lot of potential. I wish I could play with it, rename the controls then rename it so users will have a better idea of what they will be downloading.
Thank you for taking some of your valuable time to make the wonderful samples. smile:)

As I read I am making a glossary of terminology that I am not familiar with. As I learn what the terms are I fill it in. Some of the new terms are:

Materials -
Textures -
Edges – lines connecting vertices
Loops of edges
Smooth groups
Shaders -
Lambert – luminance - one lumen per square centimeter
NURBS – Non-uniform rational B-spline – representation of curves using knot vectors (interval boundaries) and control points.
Polygonals
Templating
Tessellation – tile – fill with pieces without spaces
Hulls
Dolly – zoom in/out
Tumble - rotate
Track - pan
Hypergraph – hierarchical abstracted view
UV - ?

Some I have filled in by using google and wiki but others I still have not nailed down.

30 min is not up yet,, this is what I have so far...

Now don't laugh because I'm just telling you what the filter is telling me... as in naming,, discard the ones you don't like but in a creative burst all names come thru...

Satin Paint

Electric Paint

Electric Storm smile:D

Electro-Magnetic Paint

Electric Emboss

Satin Sheets smile:D

Solar Storm Paint smile:D

Magnetic Render smile:D

Bemuda Triangle Paint smile:D

Digital Taboo

Monkey Electronics smile:D

Short Circut Paint

Solorized Paint smile:D

AC Current Paint

European Outlet (can't think of the name for their outlet... but.. that...)

Going back to the filter to see if it will give me more names before the 30 min is up...

I like to see the filter on different images and what it does... then the names come because of the way it renders.

Anarchy Paint

2am Highway

Annebriated Paint

Lysergic acid diethylamide or

LSD.. I would't know,, only guessing

70's Haze Paint

Hard Rock Paint

Highway Patrol Paint

-------------------

The names are getting weird so I'll stop...

Hopefully there is one in the list that you like... also sometimes I've noticed when giving names to others that a name in the list might make them think of something else they like... so it's a link to another name.. could even combine names around...

Did you like any?

Wow!! I'm still a little stunned. I will drink a cup of coffee then read them all again.
Has anyone noticed a type of image where the filter *takes* best? Do you know what I mean? Like flowers or low key or maybe portraits? I wish I would have had time to research it better.

Don’t kill me…. You really are going to kill me… But I have decided to stick with what is at least a technically descriptive, if not boring and lame, name.

Good thinking~ The filter has already settled into it's name.

Ron I think my favorite that Steve came up with was the Chromatic Glow... and Chromatic seems over done, but I liked the latter.

Space Monkey Paint,, not my fav of the suggestions... there are a few that aren't too bad~ smile;)

Hope you have a great day. I'll have my head in filters and won't be in the forums much today~ I'll check email later this afternoon~ smile:)

OH I forgot to answer this... I was using landscapes and birds. smile:D I'll see if I can't get some more samples up sometime this week.

Did you get a second monitor? I get mine at garage sales - you may call them tag sales. The last two I picked up were for eight dollars and ten dolars. I keep expecting to get a bad one but so far they have all be very good. I like getting them from individuals. I think the ones to avoid are the ones from schools and businesses.
The second monitor really works great for PS and AI too because I can move the toolbar and palettes out of the way - I have always wanted to do that.
I hope you have a peaceful, stress free day. smile:)

Not yet, but I might have another one on here by the time the day is over. There has to be an extra monitor laying around this house somewhere, LOL.

You know I'm kicking myself for not thinking of doing that. I'm so glad you showed me the picture. This is something I should have thought of years ago... what a great and wonderful practical idea. If I have a tutorial in the past I usually set both windows sized right beside each other, but even then the screen is limited. Your way is much better. smile:D

Starting the day with some romantic international tunes on the imeem playlist I made. There are a couple of songs on there I absolutely luv... most of all it in other languages from various countries. I keep telling my mother I'm going to make a list with only German songs,,, but I do have two german ones in the playlist. So far I'd say Italian songs,,, german songs, and romanian luv songs are my fav's in the list... some of the romaji songs are really good too though. It's going to be a great day~ A creative day~ smile:D
