I like how this looks like real batik fabric. I spent a lot of time in fabric shops and I always had to feel the fabrics and so I can feel this one. I liked the batik fabrics that were on the very lightweight cotton as it had a silky feel to it.

Hehe, thanks guys... that one of my very firt few attempts to making a filter way back whenever (Feb of this year... correction, January!) that was smile;)

Since you mentioned "Batik", Ahimsa... did you ever come across my most recent one called "Batik Tribal Prints"? Just curious if you missed it or what you thought of my use of the word "Batik" to describe it?

I think these would be good as kimono fabrics.

I like the last one, but I also like bigger patterns with a bit more color... but not as wild and crazy as Steve likes his colors smile:D

So, you like kimonos? I've never particularly liked the look, seems to constraining to me. All those itty bitty steps you have to take... what if you had to go to the bathroom really bad smile:?:

I love kimonos, and would love to live in Japan for a time.

Oh, I have never been attracted to that part of the world, it feels so strange to me. I'm more of cabin in the mountains sort of gal. Horseback or hike to get around (when I was able smile:-p ) fishing, wild veggies, fruits and nuts for sustenance... ahhh, that' my kind of living smile:D

Well, you never know, maybe you will get to see/live there one day. I hope you do smile;)

BTW, I am going to submit a version 2 of this filter. I was going to revamp it, but it looks quite different, better I think, but still too slow for me, and it's a little more cleaned up inside too.

I doubt I will ever see Japan, but I do think it's a beautiful country and I like the customs they have. I find Japan a very interesting place.
