This is another one of those that just showed up while playing around with different ways of connecting things within FF.
I really liked the depth that came up.

It looks like you're looking inside the body, maybe the veins. It really does have a lot of depth.

Thanx smile:)
I did notice I left some un-connected nodes in there (where I was playing with background styles)...I guess i will have to clean that up.
Opps smile:blush:

Cool smile8) It does look like blood cells..... For another variant with that bulbus melting look.....you could try manipulating the 'rings' profile of cells using highpass, contrast, and some profile gradient work for the 3D effect......

Nice work!!! smile:)

yup, hemaglobin. and yup, love the backlighting.
If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

I have left things behind in mine before too. smile:D

If you can do that and make these look like blood cells that would be great. I could easily see that being animated.

I was playing around....and this type of change would end up being a completely different filter. I would have to plug everything differently...so maybe i will leave this as it is and that kind of thing can go for another
filter.

Are you able to get that foggy depth seperately so that you could add cells eventually?

Yeah, I was talking about another variant filter from this.....one that is kinda melted together in bulbus mounds with separated balls.....like in those old lava lamps smile:) Dilla may be making it as we speak smile;) smile:D LOL......

The update just cleaned up the loose nodes that were unconnected. Nothing structurally different.
(I like things clean LOL)

Rawn this is excellent! smile:) My new favorite. I don't know how you did it but I would have said it could not be done in FF. I have not seen an effect like this on any other filter.
I have a couple of never finished microscopy effects of my own that I think would work extremely well with what you have done here. I remember coming up with a really cool surface tension/coverslip effect that could work with this. Also the way I did the re-refraction for simulating bubble to bubble interaction in my 'Suds and Bubbles' filter might be useful if you decide to make it a surface. You can see the effect here:

Keep up the good work. smile:)

Thanx Ron
I dont know if I would have been able to come up with this effect if i set out to try and make this, this is just one of those happy accidents that show up when tring to do different things in FF.

I see this one went HU, good one, not too surprising though, since it is great at the lava lamp look for sure. smile:)
