I dont know about "Gothic" but I see a few variations there that could make great sci-fi corridors.

Hi Rawn! If you look at the default preset and a few of the others you'll see crosses and for me these look gothy, but I can see some sci-fi too. The second one posted here in particular.
By moving the light balls I was able to get shiney, plain, and worn looks.

A note: To get the best of these, don't go past 4 on the mode slider and if you do go to 4, make sure the other one is at 1 or 2. This looks best as squares and rectangles.
Also on the repeats, keep the numbers very low and use the offsets and formula sliders to find your designs instead.

definitely goth. could easily be vault or floor patterns. love variation #5. that one could even be cathedral walls. If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

Thanks everyone! It's a kaliedescope filter.
Craig, I like #5 too. The lighting made that coppery look on it and using the techno component really gives a lot of nice details.
All of these are actually black & white. The lighting is the only source of additional color.

ah, the lighting gave the color. cool. i do that at times, but you really put some polish on it. If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

Thank you!
I have been wanting to use that techno component for some time, just didn't know what to do with it to make it something other than what has already been done with it.
I want to see if I can improve this one. Who knows, maybe one day Vlad will actually comment on one of my filters. The Editor's Pick one didn't even get a pat on the back.

Hey, at least you have one LOL.... I wouldn't read anything into it.....Vlad has never commented on a single one of my filters ever.....so now I've got a complex, fallen into a deep depression, and cry myself to sleep every night LMAO.... Steve

Oh yes... I am definitely dreaming up a gothic space-station...
These are great, and really an excellent demonstration of the effects of the hdri lighting too!
Very nice indeed. Okicyapo

It was a loan, but I will find some other way then. Maybe make you a special pic, post it at Commune where I have my gallery, and dedicate it to you.

People are using it, but it has been 3 pages away from HU now for well over a month.
I'm sure you will get an Editor's Pick soon now that you know what he's looking for.

You're a pain, you know that?
I am trying to do a noise thing for Crapidilla's thread. I can't figure out how to make the ones he has there, so I will make what I can with only noise.
PS...just a reminder...
You're a pain in the butt!
