Er..ah well. Tips on how to make future stone flooring textures more realistic would be nice.

I like the default preset because it has enough mortor space between the tiles. To make the tiles look more realistic? Play with the bevel, mortar, and weave style. Also using some perlin noise can help get a little added effect to it.
The best way to learn, is to go in the library and see if you can find a tile filter that has the tiles the way you would like yours to be and then go inside and see how it was done.
Welcome to FF!

Mm, thanks! Unfortunately, my trial expires in 16 days. D:
Mmm, I've been messing with Bevel a lot.. can't ever get it to look nice. I'll definitely root through more filters for learning purposes.
Height-mapping seems to get me a nice bevel, though.

Ask for an extension.
The height map component is great. I use it on most of my filters. With the bevel I have noticed I get better results when I add a curve to it. Look in the curves section of your components and play with the arc or the steps. A single step slanted makes a good bevel.

Ahhh? Who would I ask? (Through PM, or...a different method of contacting?)
And alright, I'll try that.

Use that contact tab in the forum menu here. I ended up with two extensions so I'm sure they will let you have one.
