It's been about a month or so now since I "pimped" any of my filters, so here goes. Below are first, the original (a picture I snapped), then preset #1, then preset #5, then preset #9 at the bottom. I chose those 3 presets because they made a diagonal line through the first 9 presets that you can see on the download page for this filter, just random, to show what it looks like on something besides the life preserver eh.

----Thanks Carl. Those examples are all 100* effected, I just ran the pic through the filter and rendered it, certainly experienced photoshop/psp people could blend and layer it for a much subtler and nicer look.

----Yeah, it doesn't have any Threshold in it, so if you just wanted certain areas done, you'd have to use the majick wand, or some technique like that I guess. I was thinking even just blend it in at 50% luminosity or something would tame it quite a bit and make it quite a bit more subtle, yet still have a cool effect on some pics. But yeah, good call, break out the majick wand ha-ha.

The first one gives an illusion of speed. I like the last one too, but the first is the one that stands out for me.

----Yeah, the smoother presets tend to look better, but all that is, is turning on the *PreSmoothingGaussian* control I believe. So if someone didn't like that last look, all they'd have to do is check the *PreSmoothingGaussian* box, and it would smoothen out for them.

Would the car show up better? I haven't opened the program much lately so I haven't checked it. I mainly open the program long enough to download filters and then shut it off. No interest these days.

----Hmm, maybe, but maybe not. Your best bet would be to select certain areas to run the effect on, and/or to do a layer blend after the fact, to reduce the effect a bit, so that it was still noticable but not overbearing ya know.
