i'm guessing there's something to learn in this one. i like it and i like the variety you've achieved with it.
If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

Indeed. Take a look at how the highpasses are turned into meaningful heightmaps by a tone curve. Very interesting! smile:)

yup, this one is fascinating! very clever.

there is one bug, however. the threshold needs to be re-mapped. when set high, like around 75 or above, the effect goes blank and all you're left with is the background image. i re-mapped this (on the perlins) to about 72 max. this is still quite high but at least gives something.

some of the controls could also be re-named for more meaningful names. this one doesnt bother me much, since i'm familir with control names, but it is one of the things that vladimir looks at when picking 'editor's pick'.

i also played around quite a bit with some other things. man, this thing has a TON of more potential! i can see rusty pipes, curly hair, copper tubing, galvanized pipe and a host of other things in here.
