Nice! You're on the fast-lane with your effects portfolio, eh?
![]() ![]() A small thought on render performance: You could approximate the result of the slow HighPass by blending the two Noise Distortions (Normal blend mode, 50%) and subsequently blending that result over a 50% grey Background of another Blend component (also set to Normal blend mode, say 25%). Hi Crapadilla,
I figured I might try for that free plug-in since I had a few days over the holidays to spare... Damn, did I use Highpass here, too? I do like the effect... Oh yes, I wanted to raise the edges of the mud like it was drying up (higher at the edges than the center). Probably better and faster ways of doing it. Tone Adjust with a Bias curve attached to it would probably achieve the same with less overhead. And I don't know how essential it really is to the effect. Probably superfluous. |
