April 12th 2008...This filter is corrupt.
The effect is only applied to the first three quarter of the image, the last one quarter is not filtered.

Anyone else got this?

Works fine for me. Are you by any chance using a non-square image?

That has a tendency to screw things up in most filters.

also, if you are using this in photoshop and the image is pasted in a layer with the image actually larger than the photoshop page, then this could also happen. It happens alot to me when I forget to trim images down to size after pasting them in.

actually if you look at the inner mechanics its designed to be progressive meaning it barely happens at the top and gets worse and you progress downward

if you want I can make a version that distorts the whole image but from my experience it dosnt look ""Runny"" then it looks blobly or just more a flat liquid distortion rather that running or grabity based

ahh just reread your post and saw my error in the first reply --my suggestion would be to check to see if the size slider is not at the far right if you play with the size slider it can have effects like this on some filters
please let me know if this is not the case

if the problem is no the size slider
could you
1. upload the photo this occorring with
2. when it occurs save the variation as a preset and upload the filter to this forum post so I can see where and how its occuring

i tried this one out, volde. pretty cool smile:) and no, you dont need to alter the filter. he was more than likely using a non-square. that will give you a clipping at the bottom or a side.
If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!
