Is there any way to create the "variations" yourself? This one can do some cool stuff, but all the auto-generated variations are pretty lousy.

Yup!
Below the "Result" thing is a box with "filter controls" pick that then adjust settings as you like then go to the "presets" tab and add presets using the little arrow button thing. Be sure to submit an update for this filter, it looks quite nice and deserves better presets! GL! Edit: I was bored and tinkered around a bit. It's actually a lot uglier than your result but oh well. fun with deco pattern.ffxml |

Thanks for the tip. I'm not able to open your variation for some reason. It just gives me all the functions in text format. Its true, you can get some pretty ugly results when it tiles more. I need to change that control.

Right click on it and use the "save as" or "Save Target' to your desktop then left click on it on your desktop and it will open in FF ![]() ![]() |

Cool, got it. That didn't look bad to me at all. We probably just have different tastes. Thanks for the tips and encouragement guys.
