Hey Craig smile:) I would suggest just staying with the common staggered linear floorboard patterns (loose the rest).....and add different wood types, colors, etc......should make it go to HU..... smile;) smile:)

Better yet, since it already has the "mark-of-death" LU on it (sways users away from even looking at it), I would just create a new filter so it doesn't have the LU "handicap" anymore..... smile;) smile:)

hi steve,

yes, i probably shld have narrowed the range of this, but, with 245 downloads already, i didnt want to really change it all, as this would throw off those 245 filters (potentially) and that didnt seem right. so, all i wanted to do was tweak it a little and remove a couple of stupid things in the old one. so, i think you're right about doing a new filter and narrowing the scope of that.

btw, i dont believe in the 'mark of death'. i've seen filters go HU, LU, then HU again. there seems to be a streak in filter use. a filter will get used for a while, then nothing, then get used for a while again, then nothing again and so on. that doesnt mean my filter didnt deserver an LU and that was the reason for the update. at 245 downloads, i consider the filter a mild success. the LU tag doesnt mean a lot in that regard. so, i read all this as 245 folks saw something enough in the filter to take a closer look. that they didnt like what they found too much, why, ok, time for a tweak.

oh, and if you notice the title of the filter, i think i know what i was trying there; floor coverings...all floor coverings. hehe, that didnt work so well. so, it looks like you're right again, i shld prolly do another filter as just something tighter, like the wood or something. i'll look it over later down the road and see what i might like.

thanks for the comments smile:)
