Added alot of simple options
mirror gradiant rotate gradient etc real simple modifications and simplifications This is the most Ive been excited about FF in a long time

Thanks, just wait untill you see the update, should be good for another few hours of fun.
The top and bottom presets are similar, but the direction of the gradient is 90 degrees in the other direction. Imagine what happens if you feed that in here.  |

My modeifications allow for the rotation allready by pluggint the effect into an elevation gradient using a standard gradient with offset
also allows for directionals switch as far as spinning it 90% all you need to do is place a check mark on the phase of the initial curve with two settings -66.6 +66.6 works like a charm also mirroring the gradiant is fun also by plugin in a step curve you can isolate the swirl easier lets all whine for a wine port |

and, if you want to expand this a bit further, try adding a kaleidoscope after that last set alpha in volde's mod. you can get some interesting, sort of architectural patterns that might be useful.

The stupid thing is I originally started all this to make to make a roll of rope. I got stuck with that and somehow got onto the snail track. But now, whith the two spiral types, it should be relatively easy to do a rolled up rope. Unfortunately it's all work and no play for me at the moment

With some work- these spirals could be a cool ionic topper for a roman column filter. I'm not sure I could finagle with things enough to get a decent result myself so I invite and encourage anyone to use my filter as a base (if it helps at all).
