i think this one is marvelous. just one thing keeps it from being my own 'editor's pick' and that's a small anomoly where the base meets the globe. you can see it in the pic i'm posting. the sphere gets cut off unnaturally by the base. you can get around this by altering things yourself, but it would be nice if this didnt happen.
one suggestion for fixing this would be to add a standard, solid band at the base of the sphere between the sphere and the base. that might be easier to do than trying to regulate the base itself.  If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

Hi Craig,
You can use the Globe Size slider to make the globe smaller so it fits the base better. The big problem I had with this is that the base changes size so it was difficult to make things work automatically and look good with a smaller base size and a bigger globe size as the width of the base changes as well as the width of the bottom of the globe but I will give it another go. |
