love the default and the tarnished #3. dont quite understand why you put a transparency in there (#7), but ok. If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

It's just the same as the rusterizer. Transparency is so you can make objects which punch out. Like so

I've been working on an oxidation filter as well (copper instead of bronze). It's starting to come along, but it's definitely tempting to steal ideas from yours, considering I can make sense of your mess. But no, it's not mess, its genius. Great job!

Go ahead: steal away! It all works better if we share, after all. (But it's always good manners to ask.)
I've been thinking that it would be nice to have a library of similar materials-filters: steel, gold, wood, rock, etc ... all heightmap based.
btw: The tricky part with these is that the color is a gradient, which gets controlled by an offset.

My really big congratulations CorvusCroax and this excellent, awesome, beautiful and very well done filter and that it makes this realistic metalic bronzerizer effect
I have made a small quick example here with some 3D rendered letters and applied preset 9 that gives that brown and green bronze effect.
Here is the full example
Like much how from a plain black and white image it gets so many nice shades and textures.
and here is an old compass converted with this great filter

Works great with heightmaps off instagram:
I think I'd like to go through and add some directional dirt and wear.
