very interesting. i like that someone else is making 'art' filters. great renditions here, photoman and donna. gonna have to play with this one myself. it's got sort of an aged sketch look.

photoman,

i hope this doesnt offend but i made a couple of changes in your filter. i took out 3 components, a blend, the desaturate and the color control one. since later in your workflow you have an extract type component, no color can get through anyways so i saw the other components as redundant.

this also allowed me to add 2 more control components for more versatility, an opacity control on the final blend and a black point on the levels component. if we had more controls i'd have added a white point and a control on the channel part of the extract component.

all of this in no way changes the real function and original effect. it's still your filter and still your look. i just streamlined it a bit and added more control. i left the removed components in the filter to show which ones i'd unconnected.

if you like it and want to re-submit it, that's fine and you dont need to bother to credit me with anything. they were small changes of little significance. and if you just want to ignore it or toss it away, and tell me to go to hell, that's fine too smile:)

regardless of what you do with my revision, i like this filter smile:)

so, attached is the revision:

edit: oh, and i like what you did with the assemble components. very slick smile:)

Craig,

I like the changes to the filter. smile8) I will re-submit as a revision. You will get credit in the update even if you do not want it smile:!: I like the addition of the black point to the filter it increases its flexibility. Thanks. smile:beer:
