Hey again, Ron
 I disected the mad curve experiment that you created behind this one  .....suggest removing the stretch, radial profile (both causing alot of undesirable side effects), and some of the depleting "modes".....and focus filter on the applied scale of the perlin effect that you created.....which is really good....like on the edges for the painting effects....and larger scale to map/distort entire image.....maybe divide and apply on two levels (edge and overall).....or totally ignore me because I don't know my arse from my elbow.....
