The bump map doesn't seem to do much to the default preset, as the diffuse map is already amazing. And yes, lighten it up so we can see it!

Yeah, I ended up posting an older version by accident.
There is an update coming which has a few more controls, and lighter presets(I noticed it was a bit dark as well). |

Super hotness,
I'd agree with the lightening up (but don't just brighten, keep the contrast) Also: The bump/normal maps are pretty noisy. You might get better results by reducing the grain there a bit. Overall though, niiice bark. I wood be thrilled to have made this myself. |

Cool thanks for the tips, I will look into it.
Part of the problem is that I don't really use 3D development software, so I can never tell. edit: There is another update on the way... |

I just submitted a bark filter as well, and this one is 10.5 times better than mine. Maybe even 10.6 times better.
