Why not give gratitude to the hard work of FF filters authors ?

I have just seen that this filter in this link here by Carl has been downloaded 2407 times until now and has a won a HU for High usage.

Well, how many persons of all the ones that have been using and like very much this filter have spent a few second to put a gratitude note on the comments of filter page here ?

No one else than persidio and me have wrote a comment about this wonderful filter in 4 years !!!

Why this excellent and awesome filter has not more comments and congratulations ???

I think this is really called, ingratitude

Why do not stop a few seconds to give thanks to the person that have spent much more time learning and creating this filter and that you use and like but do not care to be grateful to the author ?

Do not have to write a lot, just say, "Thanks!", or better "I like it much, very nice, thanks"

The authors do not get paid for creating the filters, and they make them and share them for free and for others to use them, and they have spent time learning to use FF and thinking about the idea of the filter and working to do it and test it and experiment and organize the controls and keep it in the better way and ALL this takes much time.

Why not spend a few second of your time to be grateful to this persons for his work?

They are humans and not machines, and would be good to comment more on their work.

AND this case is not the ONLY ONE, there are LOTS of filters that are really great and excellent and has got really very few comments.
