way sweet --would be even sweeter if he released some of his masterpieces even if you have no use for a particular filter that he has made technically they are allways masterpieces and the mechanics are allways art unto themselves

Please, uberzev could you be so kind HOW you have been able to get such a awesome, amazing, jaw dropping and excellent fibrous texture SO WELL done and in such very realistic way ?
NOTHING I have seen can be compared to this, and is the most realistic and great filter that I have seen about fibers. |

Desaturate a bunch of copies of original
To each one apply Noise Distortion with unique random seed / then Blur / then find Edges Combine those results with lighten mode Add some color back from original ***let me know if that works for you*** |

I agree with Morgantao, your example is really MUCH better than the result I have got with the instructions you have given.Perhaps is the noise distorsion that is not right.
Thanks for the info but does not help much to get that awesome result you are showing. Of course is normal that we do not get it the same, as you are a great master of FF and I am just a begginer. |

What a pity that you lost the original, I know that this was nearly 5 years ago and is understandable that you can´t keep all the filters. The remade one looks good and well done, but is the light degraded version of the beautiful and wonderful first one, BUT I think is not very far away, is just perhaps a few more tweakings to be able to have it to show more as the first one. Thanks very much for remaking it again and that you got this good result. |
