GREAT and very well done shatter effect, I really like it much and love how wonderful effect can you make with this and is very simple and easy.
I have updated it and added some more controls to be able to MOVE the center of the shattering and some rotation too. Here I have uploaded the updated filter with 42 PRESETS so you can see how useful this filter can be. The new moved center settings presets begin after the preset 14 Thanks very much for making this and uploading it here in the forum Zoom Shatter updated 42 presets.ffxml |

I wonder if perhaps could be possible to have TWO shatter source points instead of only one, and mix the shatter effect of the two.
I have tried to duplicate the components and mix them but the source is mainly shown as one and the other is just a small light shadow shading in the back I am just using the Blend component, so most probably this is not the way to do it, so I will try to make it in another way. Although the main shatter effect of this filter is done with the "size pixels" setting and for this there is ONLY ONE and so the filter must be done in a way that both sources point are joined so the "size pixels" setting is applied to both. |

Here I have used the ADD component but got too much excessive lighting and so I used a levels to bring down the excess of color added by the ADD component, but although this is better than the BLEND component, is still not good enough and the main source is still more important and much better seen than the second one
Is there any other way to mix the two so that they have the same priority and are treated in the same way ? Here is what I have got until now, that I think is not the way to do it. Zoom Shatter double source.ffxml |

Cool, nice and well done example
![]() How has this been done?
With lighten blend mode applied to the final blend mode ? I will see it again in the filter |

Thanks very much for Version 2.0 will see it how it works, it looks really good and nice
Glad you like it. It adds MUCH more possible ways to distort the image ![]() UPDATED WITH BLEND MODES CONTROLS - SEE PRESETS 43 TO 60 Here is a more updated version 1.0 with the added option to have also the choice of changing the blend mode that I have seen is VERY important in this case and gives very different results with exactly the same settings. I have put examples from preset 43 to preset 60 on how much different results you can get with JUST changing the blend mode Zoom Shatter 1.0 updated 2 - 60 presets.ffxml |

I have used Multiblend to mix the sources of distortion and although is not either the good way to do it and is not what I want to have, is also a curious way to have.
I have made a QUAD source distortion points ![]() This could be called Earthquake Shatter ![]() The distortion and shading lines comes from 4 different sources and make weird effects This is done with the updated version of 1.0 ![]() |
