Hi,

This is the Poser 7 dolphin. I didn't put much effort into it. I just did a quick render then exported it to Photoshop CS2 where I added a white background and sharpened it. No other postwork was done...other than sizing it down to upload to Image Shack. i like it except that it seems to be banded, with the darker colors horizontally across the middle. and somehow, that just doesnt look right.

 Kraellin,

Thanks for the input. I was debating whether to send in an update due to the banding. I envisioned a gradient that went from dark to light but couldn't get it to work with some non-square images. I'm sending in a update that removes the profile gradient that's causing the banding. I also updated the particulate matter. Here's what the update looks like: Terri |

ok, i like that one much better! excellent!

can you alter the water color and lightness/darkness too? and yes, the profile gradients do have that problem with non-square images. have a look around the filters, it may be in the snippets section, for a filter that does a work-around on this. sorry, i forget the name now, but it's from one of the regulars here and he may post and point it out. Kraellin,

I'll have to take a look around the snippet section. I think I'll leave the solid color now that I see it. Yes, there is a water tint button. I have a lighten/darken image set of controls. I think this might do what you ask. Like all photo filters, the filter won't look good on everything. Terri |
