11 images or Colors stripes experiments using different components

Beautiful images! Now all I need is a lot of time to figure out how to recreate all the effects shown in the images you posted

The filter I have uploaded on the first page works right and good for making 11 stripes frames, BUT the problems I see are:

1 - that the stripes are not resizable, I mean that you always have the 11 stripes with exactly same width, you can only modify the lenght up or down but not on the sides.

The only way available now to resize the width of the 11 stripes is to change the size resolution to a rectangle so the stripes would fill the available space and be wider each one, but all would keep the same exact size proportional

2 - You ALWAYS have 11 stripes, what if you wanted to have 3, 7, or 9 stripes filling the available space instead of the 11? You can´t have less than 11 stripes with this filter

I could add easily a checkbox on each one to disable the ones that you do not want but and so reduce the number of stripes, but this would create empty stripes holes
as the other stripes would not be resized in width to fill the deleted stripes.

3 - As in point 1, You can´t have the stripes frames with variable width, as all have exactly the same width and I could add easily the offset X settings but as it happens in point 2 it would leave a stripe hole in between the frames and the other next stripe would not fill the void.

So I think that I should try a different method (or find a different way with I already have) to make a stripes frames filter that have the following:

1 - Customizable number of stripes to have from 2 to 11 that would fill all the available space proportionally according to the number and have exactly all the same width.

2 - Resizable width individually and still filling the whole available space

Alright, I'm almost done cleaning up with the version I have and it basically solves most of the issues you got above. Things like what if you want other number of images sort of thing. I'm planning to make a corresponding documentation video or something that intends to just highlight some of the thoughts and philosophies of constructing stuff using node based programs like FilterForge.

Aye but don't stop making your own!! Very excited to see what you'd do next.

I have thought that this 11 stripes filter as they have totally individual and separated stripes, this could used for more things, and I could also use to make a new different filter called Photo Chop (no, it´s not wrongly written ) I mean that I could feed just a single image instead of 11 and then add many controls to be able to have full control over each one of the stripes and so you could chop your photos making 11 stripes bits in different sizes

Following the same 1 Single image broken in 11 stripes and then after moving the stripes so they are not ordered in the same continue order I have this other example that is from the "Burlesque" movie poster

And as on the above example is very difficult to see the details, I have made a 6000x6000 result and here is an enlarged view to see better the details of the stripes

But on the two closer examples above you can´t see the amazing hyperbolic result made the inujima´s filter, so here is a closer detail of the above part to see how the stripes are tiled hyperbolically
