interesting strokes there. and since that seems to be your rose, i also like the change of colors and the gradients between each. very smooth transitions and nice color arrangement. is all that done within the filter or is there some post-filter work in something else?
If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

Thanx smile:) completely different filter.....with some similar highpass and refraction work. The stroke effect is geared off of perlin noise......

Xero has a porcelain filter (free)... I like yours better. (((I do have all of Xero's fitlers though- nice filters))) Been using them for a long time now.

http://www.xero-graphics.co.uk/set1/porcelain.htm ((Just wanted you to know what was out there)).

Here's what I'm thinking about your porcelain- you could add some blurs to soften like they do or you could stay with the crip porcelain look you currently have going.

What ever direction you decide to take I'm sure it will be amazing, as all your filters are.

Yup, already installed.....I just prefer the 'clearer' look on the posted pick smile:) I should realize that it is hard to make any suggestions with just one pic.....my fault smile:)

I also have an artistic version of this that does all kinds of funky things with color, gloss, contrast, etc.....

My problem is that I have way too many filters in progress at the same time. I'm finishing some glass this afternoon for submission tonight.....

Yep. Yep. That was starting to happen to me- and last night I set sights on projects that were sitting. Acid Wash is one of those- could you take a look at it before you go offline to work on your filters. Just posted it in the forum a bit ago; 'Acid Wash Photo Edges'.

I read in the leaf thread that you sold all your camera equipment on Ebay to opt for the newer digital and resolution capabilities. But understand you know quite a bit about photography and I really want your opinion on the Acid Wash Filter for photos. Can be used on tiles and on top of other filters but mostly for photos. And I wouldn't mind making an Acid Wash Photo Edges 2 since I'm caught up on projects now.

Thanks smile:)

I'll go check it out smile:)

One little principle that I try to adhere to.....if I find it useful, then it's likely that others will too..... smile:)

I've also found that posting sample pics in the filter comments helps users decide wether or not the filter is what they are looking for. You just can't tell sometimes with just the life preserver.....
