Should be in the Gallery tommorrow.

This filter makes quilting squares. Just resize and make quilts.

I've used the filter on a solid background of #C9CECD. Stay away from dark colors~ Also works well on these colors:

Burgandy's

#877273 #BA8184 #F6BABD #C29497

-------------

Tan's

#BFAE80 #E3D3AC #DABEA3

---------------

Turquoise

#99CBCF #B5D2D4

-------------------

Blue's

#7BA4C3 #7AB9E9 #BAD8EF

---------------------

Oranges

#E8C5B0

-----------------

Resized smaller and made into a quilt with stitching applied.

Wow!!! Seems like it would have to be reletively complex to get that.....well beyond my skill level. I'm striving to be the "Uber" of simple filters smile:D LOL.... This has 'high usage' written all over it!!! smile:)

Nope~ The filter is only one square and is a 'graphics supply' type. For example Acid Wash is a great filter for photos----> but can be used in projects like on the quilt... Makes a nice finish for art projects.

Nope, the fitler is just one square. The graphic is an example of how to use it and quilts like this are beginners graphics ----> easy to make. I'll put a short tutorial for it on the comments page.

Well your sweet smile:D smile:D smile:D but,,, Nope,,, it's just a graphics supply filter.

i keep telling my mother, a rabid quilter, that she shld use the computer for design. but, as good as she is with quilts, she's that bad with computers, so it'll never happen.

but, if she ever did, i'm sure she'd like this filter smile:)

Oh thank you Kreallin~ smile:D smile:D smile:D

You know they do have real quilt patterns on the web and all sorts of quilters sites and groups~ smile:D

My Mom only goes on the computer to get her email despite years and years of my trying to get her interested. She used to love making crafts but just never took to the computer.

Now the graphic here is easy but does take some time (it's relaxing).

The comment section section for this filter now has a tutorial on it for the quilt and links for some quilt tutorials on the net.

yep. my mother has a quilt design program on the computer, one my brother gave her. but getting her to even open the program is an adventure in patience... 'now double left click on that icon... no, the other one! double left click. no, that's too slow. click, click and it will open... ok, how did you do that?!" hehe, trust me, i'm being conservative here smile:)

Oh I went thru that with my Mom. And hearing over and over again... "Jeannie I don't understand what you are doing"... She finally did figure out email though. I couldn't for instance send her my filter page and say "hey Mom look" because ... she'd be confused how to get there and then she'd complain that she didn't know what she was looking at. Even with my best explanation. It's too frustrating for her. The funny thing is that my Mother is a brilliant woman--- college educated from an era that wasn't producing those kinds of opportunities. She does love email though and sends the funniest stuff~

And my Dad he loves computer games~ LOL He's good at them too~

LOL ------> My Mom plays Canasta smile:D smile:D smile:D

Well I have been working very hard on a filter that compliments this one----> and I'm almost done. Just getting the presets in right.

This new filter makes 'cross stitch' and 'line stitching'. And now this may 'sound' like a simple thing to make----> it's been a nightmare, LOL. But a worth while nightmare~ smile:D

I do have a migrain approaching but I think that's because I've been in front of the computer too much so after I upload this one I think I'll take a break. This happens sometimes due to my eyesight, it's just my bodies way of saying 'take a break please or you'll regret it'. smile:D
