Here is an sample what you can use the overlays, In paint shop pro I opened an transparent image, then I open FF and my modern quilt tiles. I choosen the first one and then applied to my transparent image in paint shop pro. After I applied the quilt blockm I open ff again this time I opened pattern overlay applied the pattern I like.
